This Forest Hills Kitchen had incredible architectural bones, but a complete renovation was needed after years of neglect to create a more comfortable living space for this client.
Traditional detailing on the legs under the sink cabinet added a personal touch suited to the home owner.
Unique materials were used to make the kitchen easy to maintain. The designer choose large format porcelain back-splash tiles to minimize grout lines but still kept the integrity of the kitchen look as if it were small marble mosaics. The kitchen floor is a porcelain material which is not only durable but stain and mildew resistant. This kitchen has the hard wood floor look and none of its usual maintenance that real hard wood floors have to deal with.
The appearance of hard wood floors give the room a warm feeling, while the white cabinets and a light mosaic marble back-splash creates a bright and roomy kitchen.
A barnyard sink, stainless steel backsplash behind the range and a wine glass display case finishes off this incredibly luxury kitchen.
